This is an IBC adapter with a tap connector. The tap can also be used as a backup safety valve or for fine flow control.
It is suitable for most British and European standard IBC tanks with a coarse thread of S60X6. The S60X6 head-to-head thread has a width of 60 mm from thread edge to thread edge and a pitch (distance between threads) of 6 mm.
If your tank's buttress threads are not S60X6 (approximately 20% are not), you can purchase a buttress thread converter to convert the threads to the S60X6 threads you need.
